Blind Tasting at Oxford

About us

The Oxford University Blind Tasting Society is one of the world's oldest and most highly regarded collegiate wine societies. We offer accessible, educational wine tastings and training in blind wine tasting to students and members of the Oxford community.
Our term-time events include themed tastings with prominent guest speakers from the wine trade, as well as an Introduction to Blind Tasting Course held in Michaelmas Term and a competitive blind tasting training course held in Hilary Term. We welcome beginners as well as seasoned enthusiasts to our packed calendar of tasting events.
In addition to these events, we also offer Oxford students the opportunity to join our blind tasting team and compete in over a dozen annual blind tasting competitions held in the UK and abroad. Our annual Varsity competition against Cambridge, sponsored by Pol Roger, has been run since 1953 and is the world's most prestigious inter-university blind tasting competition.
